The Role

The Human Resources Associate performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development. The goal of the position is to ensure the HR department’s operations will be running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization.

What will you be doing at Tricolor?

  • Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics.
  • Assist the department in new projects implementation.
  • Promote HR programs to create an efficient workplace.
  • Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies.
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations.
  • Investigate complaints brought forward by employees.
  • Manage the organization’s employee database and produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
  • Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training.
  • Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

This is the right opportunity for you, if you have…

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • 4+ years of experience as Human Resources Generalist.
  • SHRM-CP is a plus.
  • Bilingual English / Spanish required
  • Thorough knowledge of California employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
