Pay Range: $22.00 to $25.80 per hour.
- Responsible for the administration, tracking, and reporting of Leaves of Absences.
- Responsible for performing weekly/daily payroll tasks such as the calculation of final wages.
- Responsible for researching and responding to Team Member pay inquiries.
- Responsible for generating and auditing reports as needed by the department.
- Serve as the Front Office Backup to the Front Office HR Assistant.
- Provide support/backup to all other Human Resource Assistants in the department as needed as well as to the HR Business Partners.
- Perform miscellaneous duties including but not limited to typing (memos, job letters, etc.), issuing I.D. badges, wage loss verification requests, ordering supplies, distributing partials wage forms, completing SDI claims forms, etc.
- Assist in the planning of company events such as Team Member Recognition luncheons, dinners, etc.
- Participate and assist in the Safety Committee.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must be a high school graduate, an AA or BS degree is preferred or equivalent HR experience.
- Must have good interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Must have strong reporting skills, specifically in Excel.
- Must have ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Must be bi-lingual (English/Spanish).
- Must be able to work in fast-paced environment requiring simultaneous multi-tasking.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to submit to and successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- Basic knowledge of FMLA, CFRA, ADA preferred.
