Your first year, and beyond, as you focus on results and advance with innovation at Dotson:
- Safety: You will enhance and support onboarding and training programs for new team members.
- Directly impact our team: You will be involved in supporting team member events and regularly work with team members to support.
This position will be heavily involved in recruitment efforts including developing and deploying recruitment efforts to address staffing needs. The position will also perform administrative tasks - such as maintaining the HRIS system, document management, and other projects as needed!
- Performs various components of talent management including but not limited to interviews, job postings, review of applications, and pre-employment screening.
- Assists in the onboarding and offboarding for team members.
- Maintains, updates confidential information such as personnel records in compliance with organizational, departmental, state and federal regulatory requirements and compiles reports.
- Participates in the planning and coordination of company events.
- Assists with travel arrangements, subscriptions, registrations for the organization.
- Provides clerical assistance including scanning, filing, assembling reports, and mailings.
- Conducts research and updates/distributes policies and communications.
- Coordinates appointments, meetings and calendars.
- Prepares for and participates in internal and external audits related to administration.
- Supports the daily operations of the HR team.
- Uses HR databases to review, input and keep track of employee information.
- Supports human resources processes by administering tests, scheduling appointments, conducting orientation, maintaining records and information.
- Serves as payroll backup as needed.
- Maintains and updates attendance and time off data.
- Reviews and responds to unemployment claims with appropriate documentation. Reviews monthly unemployment statements.
- Conducts and compiles information for exit interviews.
- Works with individuals on various leave.
- Offers suggestions for improvements of operations or processes and works to optimize all systems.
- Experience: in HR, recruiting, administrative work or dealing with confidential information.
- 2-4 years of experience as a training coordinator, trainer, supervisor, mentor or similar role.
