HR Assistant
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an HR Assistant in the Louisville area. A dynamic and growing company is looking for an HR professional to join their team. The HR Assistant will play a crucial role in various aspects of human resources, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and benefits administration. Responsibilities:
Assist in the recruitment process, which involves posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling and conducting interviews, and extending job offers.
Manage the onboarding process for new employees, including preparing offer letters, conducting new hire orientation, and ensuring completion of all necessary paperwork.
Serve as a resource for employees, providing guidance and answering questions related to HR policies and procedures.
Support performance management by conducting performance evaluations and facilitating disciplinary actions as required.
Maintain accurate employee records, including personnel files, time off requests, and other HR-related documents.
Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations.
Administer employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.
Assist the HR Manager with additional HR-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Degree in HR or a related field.
Experience in a law firm or similar field preferred
2 years of experience in an HR role.
Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with employees at all levels.
Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with HRIS software.
Details: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Pay: $20 per hour to $21 per hour. Our program offers employees the flexibility to select the coverage that best suits their individual needs. Available paid leave may include Paid Sick Leave as required by law, any other paid leave mandated by Federal, State, or local law, and Holiday pay based on eligibility criteria.
Pay Details: $20.00 to $21.00 per hour
