POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Recruiter will support a team of Human Resources professionals in a variety of Recruiting tasks, both for our organization and in support of our clients. Hours per week may vary. This position starts off as part-time with the potential to increase to full-time in the near future.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Recruiting Support

• Maintain job board accounts
• Prepare and submit job postings
• Source and screen candidates
• Schedule interviews
• Prepare candidate rating sheets
• Conduct reference checks
• Order background checks and/or drug screens
• Attend job fairs and other events
• Must be willing/able to work on-site up to 2-3 days per week and to meet with clients in North Alabama

Administrative Support

• Conduct employee on-boarding
• Research HR topics
• Create employee personnel files
• Initiate I-9, E-Verify, State New Hire Reporting, OSHA
• Prepare correspondence and other business materials
• Create and/or update spreadsheets, forms, and templates
• Print files, make copies, and scan documents
• File documents and forms
• Attend RCHR staff meetings

Other

• Other duties as assigned
• Regular and punctual attendance is required

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Training

• Minimum of High school Diploma/GED
• Some College or above is preferred

Required Experience

• 1-2 years of Recruiting or HR Support experience
• Intermediate or higher technical proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Experience

• 3+ years of Recruiting or HR Support experience
• 1+ years of experience with LinkedIn Recruiter or Indeed Recruiter
• 1+ years of experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
• 1+ years of experience working with a government contractor
• Advanced or Expert technical proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
