POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Recruiter will support a team of Human Resources professionals in a variety of Recruiting tasks, both for our organization and in support of our clients. Hours per week may vary. This position starts off as part-time with the potential to increase to full-time in the near future.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruiting Support
- Maintain job board accounts
- Prepare and submit job postings
- Source and screen candidates
- Schedule interviews
- Prepare candidate rating sheets
- Conduct reference checks
- Order background checks and/or drug screens
- Attend job fairs and other events
- Must be willing/able to work on-site up to 2-3 days per week and to meet with clients in North Alabama
Administrative Support
- Conduct employee on-boarding
- Research HR topics
- Create employee personnel files
- Initiate I-9, E-Verify, State New Hire Reporting, OSHA
- Prepare correspondence and other business materials
- Create and/or update spreadsheets, forms, and templates
- Print files, make copies, and scan documents
- File documents and forms
- Attend RCHR staff meetings
Other
- Other duties as assigned
- Regular and punctual attendance is required
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Training
- Minimum of High school Diploma/GED
- Some College or above is preferred
Required Experience
- 1-2 years of Recruiting or HR Support experience
- Intermediate or higher technical proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Experience
- 3+ years of Recruiting or HR Support experience
- 1+ years of experience with LinkedIn Recruiter or Indeed Recruiter
- 1+ years of experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- 1+ years of experience working with a government contractor
- Advanced or Expert technical proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
