Job Description
The House Supervisor is responsible for general oversight of resident activities and well being throughout the shift. The Supervisor oversees aides’ activities and communicates any pertinent information or changes to Case Management and Director of Patient Services.
General tasks include monitoring HHA daily staffing, review of personal care activities and corresponding documentation, communicating all pertinent shift activity to affected departments, assisting in welcoming new admissions and helping Resident and family settle in, intervening in and reporting of all Resident refusals of services, providing feedback to DPS on work performance to assist in completion of performance reviews, employee counseling and work performance and improvement planning. House Supervisor reports directly to Director of Patient Services and oversees a staff of 15 certified Home Health Aides.
Requirements:
Supervisory experience: 1+ year
Must demonstrate leadership abilities, caring attitude, ability to work with and lead a team
At least 2 years working in a direct care position, experience in Assisted Living a plus.
Must be able to commute to Carmel, NY. 1 location
