SUMMARY
A leading real-estate investment and operating firm is looking for a top candidate to join our team as the House Manager to an executive in the Hackman Organization.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a demonstrated record of accomplishment of being an intelligent, nimble, proactive, and adept problem solver. Must be able to take initiative, work independently, and enjoy creating order where there is none.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The House Manager will be responsible for the management and administration of personal activities for the executive, his spouse, and grown children. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintaining appointment calendar for personal, social, and philanthropic engagements while aligning engagements with work schedule
- Acting as a first point of contact and ‘’gatekeeper’ for personal communication; Manage phone and email correspondence; maintain contact databases
- Booking and arranging travel, transport, and accommodation for CEO and family
- Residential Management; various household and organizational projects
- Event Planning
- Handing miscellaneous organizational and filing projects
- Paying household invoices/light bookkeeping for home and related costs
- Serve as the point of contact and liaison with Domestic Staff
- Charitable Activities and Responsibilities
- Organizing and maintaining a filing system for important household documents
- Assist with various tasks of a personal nature including running errands
- Possesses acute financial acumen and organized tracking to budget for household and business spending
- Providing miscellaneous administrative support as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years House Management/Personal experience is preferred but not a must
- Tact, diplomacy, discretion, and trustworthiness are imperative
- Ideal candidate can grasp the big picture and anticipate issues before they arise
- Confidence in taking initiative; able to do what needs to be done’ before being asked
- Strong work ethic and a ‘no job is too small’ mentality
- Keen attention to detail with a meticulous work ethic
- Flexibility, adaptability and resilient
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain a level of professionalism regardless of the project at hand
- Organizational skills and the ability to multitask
- Available for occasional weekend work as needed
- Valid CA State Driver License
Salary: $60,000- $70,000
