The Tru by Hilton Coppell DFW Airport North seeks a General Manager to join the team. This property opened in September 2019 as a new build with 127 guest rooms and a 1,242 sq. ft. Meeting Room. We seek an individual with a distinguished track record of growing business for a new hotel brand. This individual should be a strong self-motivator with excellent time management and prioritizing skills. This position needs to work calmly under pressure, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and delegate and manage effectively while remaining positive and constructive. The ideal leader for this position will embody the characteristics of leading a hotel with preexisting outstanding quality assurance scores, high-scoring guest reviews, and exceptional revenue performance. The General Manager must have the vision of the continued pursuit of excellence and a desire to navigate achievements in all aspects of the hotel. The General Manager will be responsible for the hotel's overall success, driving revenue, and maximizing profits, all while following brand and management company standards.
Key Responsibilities include but aren't limited to:
- Participate and oversee sales (local accounts, national accounts, group requests along with meeting room rentals) and marketing
- Build and manage a team of hospitality professionals; lead all departments and assist when needed; review team member performance
- Respond to and address guest and team member inquiries and complaints promptly
- Upkeep and promote social media accounts and public guest reviews
- Complete all required daily, weekly, monthly, and annual tasks and reports
- Tour and visually inspect the property daily; monitor property condition, cleanliness, cost control, and quality of products and service throughout the hotel
- Flawlessly execute all operations processes, paying attention to details and ensuring the highest standards of performance and strategy execution
- Maintain quality standards and excel in Quality Assurance, including cleanliness and maintenance
- Follow brand, management company, and ownership standards and expectations
Requirements:
- Two consecutive years of experience as a hotel General Manager preferred
- Flexible schedule (weekdays, weekends, holidays) and on-call 24/7 for emergencies
- Strong oral and written communication skills with attention to detail
- Excellent planning and organizational abilities
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal relationship skills
- Knowledge of OnQ/PEP and R&I preferred
- Knowledge of Delphi Salesforce preferred
- Knowledge of Gro preferred
- Familiarity with the Hilton Brand standards is a plus, but not required
