We are a busy restaurant, and our team loves the hustle! The roles of a Host/Hostess are so important to running a smooth operation and is a perfect entry-level position for someone looking to enter the food industry.

Overview:

We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Host/Hostess. As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience. If you have a passion for food service and enjoy interacting with people, we would love to hear from you.

Duties:

- Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome within 30 seconds of them entering the doors.

- Escort guests to their tables and provide an explanation of the QR code system we have.

- Manage the waitlist and seating arrangements.

- Answer phone calls and assist with reservations.

- Assist servers with various tasks as needed such as bussing tables.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station.

Skills:

- Previous experience in food service or guest services is preferred

- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills

- Familiarity with restaurant operations and procedures

- Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to handle difficult situations with grace

- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest relations

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Requirements:

- Must be 18+

- Open availability on weekends (Sat + Sun)

- Can work 10+ hours on your feet

- Moves with a high level of pace and intensity

-Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to stay calm under pressure

-Active listening and effective communication skills

-Attentiveness to detail when it comes to cleaning, service, and food presentation

-Team spirit; no such thing as "that's not my job"

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 20 per week
