Job description

Job Summary The candidate will be responsible as a Paint Mixer for blending various paint components according to specific formulas, ensuring consistent product quality while operating and maintaining related machinery. They will also manage packaging tasks and adhere to safety standards within a production environment. The person in this job mixes different ingredients to make paint, following special recipes. They also fill cans with paint, tape them up, work with machines carefully, weigh things using scales, and make sure everything is safe and clean.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Physically able to perform work duties, including standing for extended periods and lifting heavy objects (up to 40 pounds).

  • Ensure that production requirements and standards are consistently met.

  • Follow batch instructions accurately to maintain product consistency.

  • Complete packaging tasks such as canning, taping, and labeling according to established procedures.

  • Operate machinery safely and efficiently, following operating instructions and guidelines.

  • Maintain machinery by conducting regular inspections and reporting any issues to management promptly.

  • Utilize scales accurately for measuring and weighing ingredients or products.

  • Demonstrate basic math skills for tasks such as counting inventory or measuring ingredients.

  • Collaborate with the production team to achieve daily production goals effectively.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.

  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, reporting any safety concerns to management immediately.

  • Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude towards coworkers and supervisors.

Qualifications:

  • Possess basic math skills for tasks such as inventory counting and measurement.

  • Prior experience in a production or manufacturing environment is required.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and quality.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and procedures.

  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.

  • Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and standing for extended periods.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures.

Pay Details: $17.00 to $20.00 per hour
