Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
- Escort guests to their assigned tables or waiting areas
- Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials
- Assist in seating guests and ensuring proper table rotation
- Answer phone calls and take reservations or provide information to callers
- Help maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Assist in coordinating with the kitchen staff for timely seating and service
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy
- Collaborate with servers and other restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations
Experience:
- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role preferred
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar restaurant management software is a plus
- Knowledge of basic food service procedures and guest relations
