Social Media Specialist

Sharpe is a premium car dealership that specializes in BMW, MINI, Jaguar and Land Rover. We are in search of a Social Media Specialist. This position is responsible for helping to grow the Sharpe team.

Job Responsibilities:

· Create and execute engaging, on-brand content across Social Media platforms: Instagram (posts, Stories & Reels), Facebook (posts, Stories & Reels), TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn

· Create socially driven post copy to drive increased engagement and brand conversation

· Monitor and engage with customers in comments and messages across owned social platforms

· Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner

· Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute digital marketing campaigns

· Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and target audience to inform Social Media strategies

· Stay up-to-date with the latest Social Media trends, tools, and best practices

· Ensure brand consistency and a strong unified online presence across all Social Media channels

· Assist with update websites maintaining accurate website content for all sites

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

· Degree in marketing, communications or related field

· Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role

· Must have experience with content creation and strong knowledge of Social Media channels including, but not limited to: YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, to name a few

· Proficient in video editing software for creating high-quality engaging video content

· Photography skills for capturing high-quality images for Social Media posts

· Understanding of SEO principles to optimize Social Media content for search engines

· Strong time and project management skills

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail

· Strong ability to learn new skills and collaborate with others.

· Proficiency in proofreading and editing content for accuracy and clarity

· Familiarity with digital marketing concepts and techniques
