Position Highlights:
- Position: Hospital Operator – Per Diem
- Location: Glenbrook, IL/Highland Park, IL
- Per Diem (as needed)
- Hours: 10:30am-7:00pm, 1:00pm-9:30pm, or 4:30pm-1:00am(weekdays)
- Required Travel: Glenbrook Hospital/Highland Park Hospital
What you will do:
- Professionally answer and process incoming telephone calls timely and accurately
- Respond and accurately process emergency notification requests including overhead announcements, pager notifications and escalation
- Documentation of daily activities in shift reports
What you will need:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience: Six months’ experience as a telephone operator on a multi-function switchboard is preferred
- Unique or Preferred Skills: Experience in a hospital or health care related setting preferred
