Form of work POSITION: Home Visitor (3-5 years old) - Part Time
LOCATION: Any CASE Worksite
TERM/FTE: 1.0, Full Time, 210 Work Days per year
DEPARTMENT: Special Education
REPORTS TO: Program Supervisor
POSITION SUMMARY: The 3-5-year-old Home Visitor will implement the program using the Parents as Teachers model, emphasizing parent-child interaction, development centered parenting, and family well-being, in their work with families with children 3 - 5 years of age. The Home Visitor will collaborate with community members to deliver services in culturally and linguistically sensitive ways. The Home Visitor will partner, facilitate, and reflect with families in providing direct service including screening, mental health supports, group sessions, ongoing home visits and connecting families with needed resources. The Home Visitor will collaborate with families, school, preschool and childcare professionals to best support the family.
CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, AND TRAINING:
Bachelor's Degree, Master's preferred in Early Childhood Education Social Work/Human Development or Family Studies;
Bilingual Spanish or other language preferred;
Socail work experience preferred;
PAT certification preferred;
