Form of workExpected pay for this position is $18.43 - $21.69/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Home Care Aide is under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Physical Therapist/Occupational Therapist and in accordance with a plan of treatment to provide personal care and emotional comfort to patients in a variety of settings. The Home Care aide travels to patient homes and provides in-home care to assigned patients daily. The care provided must be age appropriate and the physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of the patients are to be met.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma/GED
- CNA-Certified Nurse’s Assistant License through the State of Illinois
- Valid Driver’s License in current state
- BLS Certification from the American Heart Association
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Phlebotomy Experience
