YOUR ROLE AS A CNA FOR HOME HEALTH -BATH AND SHOWER AIDES
As a Bath and Shower Aide at Inspired Homecare, you'll go beyond the basics of personal hygiene tasks. You'll train, coach, and support patients in enhancing their independence by mastering essential daily living skills like bathing, toileting, and shaving. By customizing instructional methods to meet individual needs and goals, you'll empower our clients to achieve greater autonomy and confidence in their day-to-day routines. To excel as a Bath and Shower Aide at Inspired Homecare, you'll need to meet certain qualifications and possess key attributes. A high school diploma or equivalent, along with completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant course and competency examination, is a must. Current CPR certification is required, or you should be willing to obtain it within 90 days of hire.
Fluency in English is essential for effective communication with clients. Your personality plays a significant role - being personable, enthusiastic, and resourceful, with a patient, tactful, and cheerful demeanor, will set you up for success in this rewarding role.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- Must have a high school education
- or equivalent
- Must have completed a Certified Nursing Assistant course as specified by the Illinois Department of Public Health as well as completed the Certified Nursing Assistant competency examination
- Must possess current CPR certification or become certified within ninety (90) days of employment.
