Compass Healthcare Consulting & Placement is conducting a search for a Home Healthcare Registered Nurse, RN Supervisor to make skilled Home Care visits and supervise Clinical Field Staff for Certified Home Healthcare Agency. Qualified candidates will have prior Certified Home Healthcare Agency experience. Familiar with OASIS, Medicare Guidelines and Field Assessments. Comfortable supervising other Clinical Staff and required in-service and Education. Home Care visits will be throughout New York City. Position is Monday - Friday, 9:00AM - 5:00PM with occasional weekend on-call responsibility.
About the position:
The Home Care Field RN (Registered Nurse) Supervisor makes skilled Home Care visits to patients in their homes, oversees field Clinical Staff who perform home visits, assessments and follow up visits to patients. The RN Supervisor advocates for quality patient care, collaborates with Physicians and other providers to maintain a safe and effective home environment for patients. The Registered Nurse works closely with patients, families and interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care is provided at home. Knowledge of Medicare and Oasis guidelines a must.
Qualifications:
- Must be a NYS Registered Nurse
- Min. of 3 years Community Health RN, CHHA required.
- Knowledge of ICD 10 and OASIS Guidelines required
- Ability to visit patients in a home environment.
- Excellent Organizational Skills Required.
- Reliable vehicle and NYS driver's license
