- Processing tissue samples, grossing, box, non box, processing, embedding, sectioning and staining slides) for histological diagnosis.
- Ability to work in IHC laboratory. Digital scanning.
- Performing histological special stains
Bonus:$6000 total $3000 after 90 days $3000 after 1 year of employment
Qualifications
- Preferred Associates, bachelor’s degree in biological or chemical science and certification requirement specific in CLIA 88 to perform high complexity testing.
- Previous experience preferred but not required.
- Histo technician or Histo technologist certification must be obtained 18 months from date of hire
Certified Histology Technician (HT) Requirements:
- Processes tissues samples, (processing, embedding sectioning, grossing and staining slides/histological special stains.)
- Preferred Associates/bachelor’s degree in biological or chemical science and certification requirement specific in CLIA '88 to perform high complexity testing.
Certified Histo Technologist (HTL) Requirements:
- Processes tissue samples (Grossing, processing, embedding, sectioning and staining slides/histological special stains). Ability to work in IHC laboratory. Digital Scanning.
