Roles and Responsbilities
- Planning, developing and executing lessons that reflect the Agile Mind Curriculum and the PA Common Core State Standards
- Adapting mathematics curriculum for individual and small group instruction to meet the needs of individual students using data to drive instruction
- Modeling test-taking methodology and solving techniques for students to utilize
- Employing a broad range of instructional techniques to retain student interest and maximize learning.
- Leading students to grow in confidence of their abilities and to take responsibility for their learning
- Boosting student morale and promoting student engagement with positive reinforcement techniques and diverse learning strategies
- Creating an interactive classroom atmosphere to maintain student interest and facilitate learning
- Evaluating student progress and the ability to meet courses standards in mathematical knowledge and skills
- Establishing and maintaining standards of student behavior
- Employing a variety of methodologies in teaching and instructing students, including demonstrations, discussions, and the appropriate use of technology
- Utilizing educational equipment, such as the interactive online component of the Agile Minds Curriculum, workbooks, graphing calculators, and other learning materials
- Adapts teaching methods and materials to students’ varying needs.
- Communicates with peers, colleagues, administrators, and parents to meet and exceed teaching goals.

Education and Experience
- Preferred bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study or equivalent experience.
The Archdiocese offers a competitive salary and benefits package commensurate with experience and education.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $42,000.00 - $47,000.00 per year
