High School English Teacher
Committed to fostering academic excellence, critical thinking, and a dedication to lifelong learning, KYHS is seeking a passionate and experienced English Teacher who can bring creativity and innovation to the English language classroom. The successful candidate is not only knowledgeable in English literature and language but also committed to inspiring their students with a love of literature, fostering strong language skills, and creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student growth and academic success.
Candidates should have a degree in English, Education, or a related field, should possess substantial experience in designing and delivering English curriculum, and should have a comprehensive knowledge of discipline-specific curriculum and instruction methods. Preference will be given to individuals with strong organizational and communication skills as well as demonstrated ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
Duties & Responsibilities
Teach five English classes a week for a total of 20 periods. Develop and deliver engaging lessons that are consistent with course content and objectives and give assessments that challenge students to think critically and creatively.
Compensation and benefits range between 60,000-80,000 and are commensurate with qualifications.
