Shift times: 10:30-6:30pm Monday through Friday. Off on school holidays?

Qualifications:

• Clean background with no priors approved by the Louisiana State Police Department
• Clean Drug test approved by third party company.
• Drivers License
• Highschool Diploma or Higher
• Proven Job experience of 5 consecutive years as a custodian.

Responsibilities of Custodian:

• Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies throughout the school day
• Patrol School campus to maintain cleanliness and orderliness at all times. --Respond to all calls for cleaning emergency needs of the school.
• Order & Stock supplies
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
• Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, tables, and windowsills
• Clean glass surfaces, windows, and mirrors
• Perform industrial cleaning tasks such as buffing floors and shampooing carpets
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed

Skills:
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize work effectively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.50 - $13.50 per hour
