Qualifications:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent (such as GED)
2. Computer and business machines knowledge
3. Knowledge of operating systems, internet skills and ability to prioritize and work
independently
4. Must have strong problem-solving skills and ability to deal effectively with faculty, staff and students
5. Experience with current Mac software and hardware technologies and experience with current Windows software and hardware technologies
6. Ability to learn administration of multiple school IT systems and the ability to train others in the use of such technology systems necessary
7. Criminal History Background Check Required
Reports to: Systems Administrator
Performance Responsibilities and Job Tasks:
Provide system-level and client support of all hardware and software systems in the district. Including installation, configuration, and maintenance for Windows, MAC OS, and iOS systems. Systems include faculty and staff workstations and laptops, student devices, and other equipment in the classroom.

Salary: Dependent upon education and experience
Essential Functions: The essential functions of the Help Desk Technician position include (1) regular, dependable attendance on the job to complete the duties in the job description; (2) the ability to perform the identified tasks and to possess and utilize the identified knowledge, skills, and abilities and to perform the identified work activities; and, (3) the ability to perform the identified physical requirements.
Evaluation:
Performance of this job will be evaluated annually by the systems administrator.
