In 1985, we began to expand, opened several stores in the Midwest, and are now operating over 250 stores across 25 states.
We are seeking a Help Desk Store Support Manager to work out of our headquarters in Troy, MI (In-person)
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Managing the day-to-day Help Desk store support operations.
- Facilitating and overseeing technical support and troubleshooting for store register issues, ensuring helpful support is provided.
- Coaching and mentoring Help Desk Technicians, assessing and recording their performance to promote professional growth.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience Required:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of store retail experience.
- Experience in leading a team.
- Excellent verbal communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to think on your feet and solve problems quickly.
- Organized and self-motivated.
- Computer skills allowing easy navigation through software products to reset passwords,
- IBM AS400, MS Office, call tracking, and email.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Help Desk Store Support Management or a related field.
- A thorough understanding of the strategic vision for the Help Desk department and the ability to set the long-term direction of the team.
- A high level of accountability and the ability to prioritize and delegate are essential.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Demonstration of the ability to thrive within a fast-paced, demanding support environment while maintaining high company standards.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
