Contract to Hire

Annual Salary Range: $35,000 - $40,000

As a member of the Help Desk Team, you will provide 1st and 2nd level support for the customers to internal corporate users.

Responsibilities of the Help Desk Engineer Job in Rochester, NY:

1. Provide support to corporate stakeholders in a Help Desk capacity

2. Respond and manage to tickets in ServiceNOW portal.

3. Assist with application and hardware questions, providing support for over 600 applications.

4. Responsible for clearly documenting issues called into the Help Desk, steps taken and resolution if possible.

5. Attempt first call resolution when possilbe

6. Flexible to work varied shifts to provide support to the team, based upon business needs.

Desired Qualifications of the Help Desk Engineer Job in Rochester, NY:

1. Associate’s degree in related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

2. PC and Windows expertise, particularly Microsoft Office suite of products.

3. Basic understanding of LAN/WAN technologies.

4. Exceptional customer service skills, including outstanding oral and written communications and troubleshooting skills.

5. Advanced problem-solving abilities.

6. Previous Help Desk or call center experience preferred.

7. Mac OS knowledge a plus but not required.

Pay Details: $35,000.00 to $40,000.00 per year
