Robertson’s Ready Mix is seeking for a skilled and experienced Caterpillar Diesel Technician to join our team in Southern California. The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and diagnostics of Caterpillar equipment. Responsibilities

· Maintain Heavy Equipment such as Loaders, Dozers, Scrapers, Excavators, Skid Steers, etc.

· Perform preventative maintenance

· Repair lighting, brake & hydraulic systems

· Run diagnostic test on equipment and troubleshoot

· Inspect daily pre trips

· R&R faulty parts and major components

· Able to perform with others on large jobs or projects

· Maintain cutting edges, teeth or loader buckets as needed

· Must be able to work with management on maintenance of equipment

· Report or make necessary adjustment for maintenance improvement

Qualifications

· Minimum of 1 year Heavy Equipment Mechanic experience preferred

· Must be able to repair several types of Heavy Equipment

· Must be able to operate Heavy Equipment.

· Familiar with shop/field safety protocols

· CAT Dealer experience is a plus but not required

· Basic Knowledge of MSHA regulations

· Ability to work full time and overtime hours

· High School diploma required

· CDL B endorsement is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
