WHECO Corporation has immediate openings for skilled field mechanics in the Los Angeles area!
WHECO Corporation is a premier repair facility for Aerial lift equipment, Telehandlers, Boom Trucks, Cranes, Forklifts and many other construction-related types of equipment. Military-experienced candidates are encouraged to apply!
Duties:
- Operate, diagnose and repair such equipment as boom lifts, telehandlers, scissor lifts, forklifts, boom trucks, cranes, portable compressors and generators.
- Diagnosing and repairing hydraulic components (cylinders, pumps, valves, etc.)
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical components (engines, axles, transmissions, etc.)
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical system components.
- Telescoping boom disassembly and rebuild.
- Conduct oil changes, lubrication of equipment, hose repairs,battery replacement, annual inspections and many other assorted services.
Skills:3 years experience as a mechanic in the related field preferred.
- Trade school or Technical training preferred.
- Hydraulic system experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend schematics, owner, operating and parts manuals.
- Must have own tools
