  • Manage the process for extensions, amendments, and waivers on existing loans;
  • Oversee relationships with loan syndication partners;
  • Prepare risk rating evaluations and portfolio level credit monitoring to risk management on a timely basis;
  • Underwrite new healthcare loans on an as needed basis depending on deal flow;
  • Participate in special projects and requests related to the management of the portfolio and the overall Healthcare Lending effort;
  • Build industry relationships and identify possible new loan opportunities;
  • Maintain network of sources and pipeline of deals;
  • Interact with customers to maintain and enhance business relationships;
  • Maintain current knowledge of internal policies, as well economic, financial, political, and legislative trends to determine possible impacts on Healthcare Lending trends; and
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with a focus in finance or accounting or similar post-degree work experience;
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a credit analysis, loan underwriting or portfolio management role with a strong preference in healthcare finance;
  • Strong understanding of credit policies and procedures and the ability to appropriately assess and monitor the risk associated with new and existing loans;

  • Experience with loan structuring and legal documentation review;
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, strong oral and written communications skills and the ability to express ideas in an organized and articulate manner;
