Imagine360 is currently seeking a Billing Specialist to join the team! This position is responsible for compiling, calculating, verifying and posting financial data for use in maintaining billing and other accounting records for Imagine360, related companies and Imagine360 clients. This position is also responsible for maintaining rates in the benefits system and COBRA system, updating eligibility, and producing and distributing bills to clients.
Position Location: 100% Remote
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform billing and rate maintenance procedures as assigned
- Produce accurate monthly bills and send to clients timely within standard operating procedures.
- Compile information, reconcile to ensure accuracy and distribute clients' monthly administrative billing reports.
- Prepares and balances billing statements.
- Compile, analyze and report client information as requested.
- Enter and maintain billing rates in the benefits and COBRA system.
- Verify accuracy of bills and address any errors timely.
- Analyze and perform calculations of billing rates as needed to maintain accurate records.
- Follow up and cooperate with other departments to ensure renewal and new group information is accurate and received timely.
- Ensure accurate and up to date information is reflected on the online plan sponsor portal by maintaining and updating the billing records for groups.
- Maintain internal control systems.
- Eligibility administration
- Responsible for the verification of accurate processing of eligibility transactions to ensure our groups are billed properly.
- Verifies, reviews, and maintains basic client and member enrollment data.
- Configuration of COBRA rates in Travis.
- Ensure accurate and up to date information is reflected on the online member portal by maintaining client changes timely.
- Ensures accurate data is entered into the applicable and appropriate system.
- Supports other EBMS departments and staff in providing accurate eligibility information and data research.
- Customer Service
- Acts as a role model in demonstrating the core values in customer service delivery.
- Provides timely and thorough follow up with, internal and external customers.
- Appropriately escalates difficult issues up the chain of command.
- Quality Assurance
- Perform review and/or audit of other employees' work to ensure quality and procedural measures are being met.
- Actively participate in Eligibility Department staff meetings and cross-departmental meetings, insuring company standards are met.
- Serves on committees, work groups, and/or process improvement teams, as assigned, to assist in improving processes and quality/customer satisfaction.
- Recognizes and alerts appropriate supervisor of trends within their scope of responsibility that fall outside of quality parameters.
- Performs self quality monitoring in order to develop and execute plans to meet established goals.
- Provides ongoing feedback to help optimize quality performance.
- Develops new or improves current internal processes to improve quality
Required Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 2+ years' industry experience relating to eligibility or client billing. Other relevant experience, such as accounting related experience, will be considered.
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to follow-up on work assigned and obtain proper review and approval.
- Ability to gather and analyze information for problem resolution.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Intermediate working knowledge of computers and software including but not limited to Microsoft Office products
- Working knowledge of GBAS and Javelina software programs is helpful
- Proficient 10-key and typing skills
- Demonstrated organizational skills, problem-solving skills and strong written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle stress, interacts professionally with others.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize workloads multi-task and manage priorities in order to meet deadlines in high volume setting
