The Health Plan Account Manager will assist with the retainment and growth of a book of business by managing day to day service requirements within the designated Health Plan customer segment and/or region.
This position is remote but requires residency in the Northeast.
Responsibilities- Manage the day-to-day service requirements for each client.
- Retention of the business through service excellence
- Maintains the key operational relationships at the client
- Contributes to the RFP and contracting processes.
- Upsells new product offerings and expansions, such as Anchor Tests, Wellness products or IT applications.
- Develops key organizational links to people and functions who can help resolve client problems.
- Collaborate with HP Account Executive partners to ensure alignment on priority service issues.
- Develops financial analysis of denial recovery, contract performance and billing-related opportunities.
- Coordinate medical engagement and policy reviews.
- Coordinate with IT on eligibility and data agreements.
- Coordinate with Commercial reps and marketing.
Required Work Experience:
3 years+ healthcare experience, including problem resolution, service management, relationship management
Preferred Work Experience:
Experience working with or supporting payors is preferred.
