Job Summary
The Health Data Analyst position will work to assess and improve data quality, create queries to analyze structured and unstructured data, create reports and visualizations, document data structures, and assist with data governance. The job requires analysis of large data sets using various software programs and languages. This position will help UHIN move to a data driven culture and assist members and employees in use of data.
Duties
● Plans and manages data related projects.
● May design, program, and conduct survey design studies.
● Assesses data quality (completeness, accuracy, timeliness) of data in different systems
● Coordinates with data contributors to improve data quality
● Codes SQL queries, creates reports and visualizations of the data
● Analyzes, summarizes and/or reviews data; reports findings, interprets results and/or makes recommendations
● Interprets data
● Writes reports or articles based on data analysis
● Facilitates with other teams to understand systems and data
● Works with customers on data analysis and reports
● Documents report specifications.
● Monitors and oversees identity resolution (MPI) queue to resolve, merge or update duplication records in the MPI where there are questions from customer service.
● Resolve possible patient data overlays and other significant patient identity data integrity issues.
● Writes processes, procedures, or training documents related to data or reporting
● Comply with all data privacy and security policies.
Qualifications:
● Knowledge of SQL.
● Experience extracting, analyzing, interpreting, and reporting on data.
● Experience assessing data quality
● Experience with business intelligence tools
● Knowledge of statistical and research methods, quantitative and qualitative analysis, assessing structured and unstructured data
● Ability to keep things confidential.
Preferred:
● Knowledge of python, R, javascript, Google Big Query including making visualizations.
● Knowledge of standards in the healthcare industry
● Familiarity with HEDIS, NQF or other healthcare measures.
● Experience with Machine learning
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $132,000.00 per year
