This position coordinates and facilitates daily maintenance data integrity functions for the enterprise Master Patient Index (eMPI) and electronic health record (EHR) to include merging, unmerging and chart corrections. Performs other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Researches, coordinates and facilitates patient merges in BMHCC's eMPI and EMR.
- Assists with chart correction processes in the EMR, including chart corrections in applicable
downstream and/or legacy systems.
- Assists with tracking and trending chart corrections information.
- Assists with EHR testing and validation with eMPI and chart corrections.
Achieves goals as assigned.
