Health Coach (Rd Or Nutritionist Preferred)

**This is a hybrid position that requires travel throughout the state of New Jersey to facilities located in Central and Northern NJ**

As a Health Coach specializing in nutrition, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting individuals on their journey to better health and wellness. This multifaceted position involves providing personalized coaching, developing and implementing educational programs, and offering on-site assistance across Central and Northern New Jersey. You'll leverage behavior change methodologies and your expertise in nutrition to conduct both individual and group sessions, whether in-person or remotely. Collaborating with our team, you'll design and execute dynamic wellness initiatives, providing tailored support to clients and serving as a subject matter expert on diet and nutrition within Avidon Health

Responsibilities:

• Direct Coaching: Engage in one-on-one coaching sessions following NBHWC standards, helping participants reach their health goals. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate session records in Avidon Health’s innovative proprietary coaching CRM, Engagement Rx, following up for additional sessions, and meeting specified Key Performance Indicators.
• Educational Programming: Design and deliver engaging wellness programs and activities. This includes creating presentations, webinars, newsletters, and health-forward challenges, leveraging online tools and platforms like PowerPoint, Canva, and Zoom.
• On-Site Support: Travel to various site locations within New Jersey, building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders to facilitate on-site wellness events and enhance program engagement.
• Nutrition Subject Matter Expertise: Act as Avidon Health’s diet and nutrition expert, contributing to team knowledge and directly addressing dietary impacts on health.
• Team Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to develop client-specific wellness strategies that align with Avidon Health’s goals and client needs.
• Client Solutions: Utilize insights and feedback to continuously improve program offerings, ensuring alignment with market demands and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of coaching experience, with a strong preference for Registered Dietitians or Nutritionists.
• Health Coaching Certification from an NBHWC Accredited Program.
• Demonstrated ability to implement behavior change methodologies. Knowledge of and experience with the established behavior change methods are required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Zoom.
• Excellent communication, public speaking, and presentation skills necessary.
• Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build relationships across various stakeholders.
• Embrace teamwork and collaboration for supporting clients, participants, and team members.
• Bring creativity and diplomacy to navigate collaborative environments effectively.
• Operate within a supportive culture valuing the elevation of team members for growth and contribution.
• Self-discipline and organization are crucial. Individuals must proactively define and manage their tasks, adhere to schedules, and maintain focus without relying on constant oversight.
• Ability to travel within New Jersey as required.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
