POSITION DESCRIPTION
TITLE: HEAD WAREHOUSE PERSON
2023-2024 SCHOOL YEAR
GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP CAMPUS
Deadline: This position will be filled in no less than ten (10) days after the date of this posting.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must possess valid New Jersey drivers' license.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions.
4. Physical strength, dexterity and ability to do manual work.
- Forklift Certification.
- Ability to effectively communicate with vendors/employees in a pleasant and cordial manner.
- Knowledge of office application software packages and equipment.
- Successfully undergo a criminal history check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
- Meet the health qualifications required of all school personnel.
- Meets NJ residency requirements or willingness to relocate to NJ within 365 days of employment.
- Must follow the guidelines of the Camden County Technical Schools' Nepotism Policy, File Code: 0142.1.
Position: This position is full-time, 12-month, non-affiliated position.
Interviews are at the discretion of the superintendent and/or designee and based on qualifications for the position.

POSITION GOALS: To oversee an efficient warehousing operation so as to provide the best possible service
with the available resources.
REPORTS TO: Supervisor assigned per the CCTS' Organizational Chart.
PERFORMANCE
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervision and Reporting
1. Reports to the Business Administrator, informing of all warehouse activities.
2. Supervises, assists and coordinates activities of workers in warehouse.
3. Supervises and assists in the receiving of materials and equipment for the school
district.
4. Supervises and assists checking of deliveries against purchase order, repair orders,
and invoices.
5. Certifies to the business office correct deliveries and approves purchase orders,
for payment.
6. Reports discrepancies in orders to the coordinator of School Business Administrator.
7. Supervises the loading of trucks required to accomplish deliveries.
Warehousing, Record Keeping, and Material Handling
1. Keeps accurate records and files on transactions conducted in the warehouse.
2. Maintains an effective system of inventory of materials stored in warehouse
and storage areas.
3. Inventories and marks new school equipment with school label and inventory tag
numbers. Forwards information to the School Business Administrator.
4. Arranges for delivery and return of materials and equipment from warehouse to
proper destination upon receipt of proper requests in writing.
5. Maintains a clean and neat facility.
Miscellaneous
1. Reports equipment or facility maintenance problems to the coordinator of School
Business Administrator.
2. Performs other tasks required in the operation of the warehouse, the handling
of supplies and equipment, and the keeping of complete accurate inventories.
3. Operates equipment necessary to perform duties, including manual transmission
trucks and forklift.
4. Performs other tasks as assigned by administration.
