The Head of Analytics & Financial Engineer in Americas will report in functionally to the Global Head of Analytics & Financial Engineering and Business Architecture and is responsible for.
- Manage Americas stakeholder’s expectations and contribute to the end-to-end design and planning of global and regional solutions
- Help with the design, build and implementation of Global Finance Analytics libraries and utilities
- Collaborate and coordinate with the Global and Regional Heads of the Analytics & Financial Engineering teams to insure global consistency in the standards and developments practices and alignment of the target state
- Own the local and regional requirements and steer the team to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions
- Leverage and reuse of models and functionalities across the Global Finance sub-functions
- Work closely with business stakeholders, Quantitative Analysts and IT to create synergies across different functions and departments
- Help define effective operating models with other departments including but not limited to Finance Line teams, Analytics, Change Management, Risk, and IT
- Work with technical stakeholders and sponsors in designing solutions to Financial Engineering problems, and then lead the delivery of those solutions to a high standard
- Engage, influence, and collaborate with other end-to-end stakeholders including IT, Finance, and Project teams to ensure positive outcomes for projects within the funding envelope.
- Have a strategic focus which enables HSBC to evolve and adapt in a changing regulatory and market environment.
For this role, HSBC targets a fixed pay range between $183,000 and $320,200.
The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.
