What We're Doing
Our team of electrical and hardware engineers are engaged in research, design, development, integration, and systems testing for assigned programs. We specialize in a full spectrum of technologies, including Interconnect, RF, microwave, antennae, digital and analog electronics, FPGAs, embedded signal processors, analog detection circuits, receiver and transmitter designs, acoustics, autonomous vehicles, and high voltage power supplies.
The Work
As the Hardware Engineering Manager, you will provide comprehensive functional leadership to a team of talented engineers. Your responsibilities include overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from research and design to development, integration, and systems testing. You will be accountable for the performance of your team, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and meet high-quality standards. Your role involves managing administrative and personnel needs, including performance monitoring, career development, salary planning, training, and succession planning.

We are seeking a seasoned leader with a proven track record in electrical and Hardware Engineering. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in managing teams, overseeing complex projects, and ensuring the successful delivery of cutting-edge technologies. You should possess in-depth technical expertise in Interconnect, RF, microwave, antennae, digital and analog electronics, FPGAs, embedded signal processors, analog detection circuits, receiver and transmitter designs, acoustics, autonomous vehicles, and high voltage power supplies.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor of Science in an Engineering Field or equivalent experience, with 14 years or more of professional experience; or 12 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree; or 9 years of professional experience with a related PhD or JD; or 4 years of professional experience with a MD. Considered an expert, authority in discipline.
• Proven leadership ability in System Hardware development.
• Experience with troubleshooting electronic systems.
• Experience with managing or leading large teams.
• Qualified candidates must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance. This requires U.S. Citizenship.
Desired skills
• Project Management and Program Leadership Experience.
• RF Design and Communications Engineering experience.
• Experience with Electrical Interconnect, RF, Digital/Analog Design, Embedded Signal Processors or Power Electronics.

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. Colorado Pay Statement
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $118,100 - $226,400. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
