The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.

Introduction
IBM Research at Albany, NY is looking for an ESD / Latchup Technology Development Lab Software / Hardware Engineer to support the development and qualification of ESD and Latchup devices/testing integrated into next generation CMOS technology nodes, by setting up and owning the operation of ESD Test equipment software and associated analysis software.

- Coding of semiconductor probe stations and electrical rack equipment such as parameter analyzers, pulsers, oscilloscopes, to name a few
- Analysis software tool creation to automate ESD and latchup data analysis
- Development of various applications to help track lab operations such as probe inventory, maintenance schedules as a couple of examples

- 0.5 years' experience running wafer probe stations.
- 0.5 years' experience using semiconductor rack equipment such as parameter analyzer, C-V meter, oscilloscope.
- 0.5 years' experience programming lab test software such as Visual Basic Studios.
- 0.5 years' experience writing customer software applications for data analysis, compact model extraction, lab probe inventory apps, lab equipment calibration history, etc.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
- 2+ experience running wafer probe stations.
- 2+ experience using semiconductor rack equipment such as parameter analyzer, C-V meter, oscilloscope.
