SalaryPart-time Receptionist needed for full service Hair Salon in affluent Encinitas area. (Cosmetology school students preferred)
You'll get a base pay plus 10% commission on products sold, and discounted hair services.
Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact with salon customers. A personable approach, and knowledge of company promotions, items in stock, and general salon information is key.
- Promote and sell services and products, provide recommendations on additional services and/or retail products that would maximize customer satisfaction.
- Assist salon operations, including but not limited to: answering telephones and scheduling appointments, stocking shelves, cleaning, and other duties as assigned by manager.
- Monitor reviews on social media platforms (Yelp, Google reviews, Facebook) and refer customer service issues to the Salon Manager.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate in a professional and courteous manner with customers, coworkers and management
- Exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, great at following-up.
- Tech-savvy (experience with Booker or point-of- sale systems, Google Drive, Google Doc Suite)
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

- Hair Salon: 1 year (Preferred)
- Scheduling Software (Booker): 1 year (Preferred)
