Job Description:

Fitness Front desk Attendants are primarily responsible for providing a clean, safe, and helpful workout environment for the users of the facility and it’s equipment , as well as provide assistance and excellent customer service to members interested in joining our gym.

Job Responsibilities:

• Be able to answer basic fitness questions and have knowledge of equipment and proper workout technique

• Be available to manage the front desk , field phone calls and questions along with providing excellent customer service to members looking to sign up or purchase merchandise.
• Keep the fitness floor clean and make sure all weights and equipment/benches are in their proper place

• Clean equipment according to the assigned zone area/schedule

Clean locker rooms and bathrooms

• Enforce all building policies and procedures, such as proper dress code for all users
• Be on the floor in proper uniform and ready to work at the start of the shift
• Execute emergency procedures when necessary
• Report any incident of injury, theft, or broken equipment to management
• Attend scheduled staff meetings and complete all required training

Complete tasks as assigned

• Communicates effectively with all peers and management

Minimum Qualifications:

• Positive attitude and desire to assist and provide excellent customer service
• Ability to self motivate with little or no supervision
• Effective verbal and written communication skills

Basic computer skills

• Capability to respond to member questions about exercises or equipment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.45 - $11.45 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 20 per week
