We are seeking a talented Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) Engineer to support the development, integration and analysis activities for the Integrated Air and Missile Defense Battle Command System (IBCS), the centerpiece of the U.S. Army's modernization strategy for air and missile defense capability. This role will require onsite support full-time at Lockheed Martin's Missiles and Fire Control headquarters in Grand Prairie, TX working a 4/10 Flex schedule. This position requires a current DoD Secret clearance, therefore, U.S. citizenship is required.
What You'll Do:
• Support the integration team in debugging software, hardware, connectors, timing, and designs
• Support system performance assessments and trade studies
• Support the integration, test, verification and validation of the system and various subsystems, including ground system fire control algorithms, guidance, navigation and autopilot algorithms and actual Operational Flight Program code with C++ models of weapons, sensors, ground systems and environments through the 6-Degree of Freedom (6-DOF) Integrated Flight Simulations (IFS), Hardware In-the-Loop (HWIL) Lab and actual flight tests
Basic Qualifications
• Master's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering with 0 to 2 years of experience
• Graduation date December 2023 or earlier
• Proficient in C++, MATLAB
• Active Secret Clearance
• Willingness to work onsite in a classified lab environment
Desired skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
• Prior experience with Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3)/IAMD modeling
• PYTHON, FORTRAN experience
• Prior experience with Kalman Filtering, coordinate transformations, and 6DoF simulation experience with radar
• Familiarity with Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) tools such as DOORS, Rhapsody, Cameo
• Ability to occasionally travel for up to two weeks at a time to support flight tests

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Colorado Pay Statement
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $76,600 - $146,800. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
