• Drawings, electrical schematics, 3D drawings *1-2 years experience.
• PLC Programming, Schneider and Siemens , Allen Bradley, and GE software *1-2 years experience
• HMI Programming, specifically Schneider, Ignition or InduSoft. *1-2 years experience Schneider HMI’s are most preferred with a second of Ignition or InduSoft.
• SCADA programing or HMI for a paralleling system. The preferred SCADA software is Ignition but we also use InduSoft, GE and Wonderware Intouch. *1-2 years’ experience.
• Gear design knowledge and/or switchboard, panelboard, MCC and switchgear design, manufacturing and assembly experience. Specifically, Schneider, Eaton, Siemens, GE, IEM or an OEM integrator. *1-2 years experience, may require *2-4 years if some of the others skills are not met.
• Troubleshooting and/or QC, inlcuding FAT/FWT. *1-2 years experience, may require *2-4 years if some of the others skills are not met.
• Startup and Commissioning, to ensure your project is correctly set up and functional. *1-2 years experience, may require *2-4 years if some of the others skills are not met.
• Testing & preventative maintenance, as you will go out in the field and perform PM’s and simple testing. *1-2 years experience, may require *2-4 years if some of the others skills are not met.
• Protective relay settings and testing for firmware upgrades or to test a large quantity of relays. This is a plus if you have this skill. *1-2 years experience, may require *3-4 years if some of the others skills are not met.

THE OFFICIAL JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary:

The primary function for this role is to design, develop, and produce control systems according to customer project requirements and specifications for Dillengr, Inc.

Essential Functions:

• Represent Dillengr Inc. in a positive, professional, and enthusiastic manner when working with both external and internal customers.
• Assist Senior Project Engineer in the design of switchgear/switchboard control systems.
• Support sales activities by providing expertise in controls design, product application and specification.
• Support field service activities by providing “life cycle” support of previous solutions.
• Assist sales and field service with discovery and requirements definition when new opportunities are identified.
• Review customer RFQ or customer-supplied functional requirements and assist in developing design specifications including hardware configuration, BOM, software design, and electrical controls design.
• Provide engineering estimates and assist in creating work breakdown structures and estimating duration of tasks.
• Develop and review Third Party RFQ’s.
• Communicate directly with customers and vendors.
• Develop system documentation including operation and maintenance manuals.
• Develop and review CAD drawings.
• Develop HMI and PLC programs for switchgear/switchboard control systems.
• Assist in the creation and execution of factory acceptance tests for control systems.
• Utilize technical product and application knowledge to assist others on the team.
• Perform preventative maintenance to maximize the life of the product and avoid unplanned downtimes.

Position Qualifications:

Education

Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Chemical, Nuclear, or Mechatronics engineering.

Experience

Minimum 3-5 years’ experience, preferably in the electrical industry or related. Microsoft office, basics of testing software and customer relations.

Computer Skills

Working knowledge of MS Office with a strong knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook. Become familiar with the various engineering software names that are used at Dillengr, Inc.

Other Requirements:

Good written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Project management experience. Willingness to travel. Attention to details. Customer relations experience within critical power i.e.) Telecomm, data center or hospital environment. Ability to troubleshoot issues with confidence. Our customers operate in facilities of a critical nature.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
