Duties and Responsibilities:
~This position will check-in/check-out hotel guests in a timely and professional manner and process all payments according the established procedures.
~Answering both in-house and outside calls from guests in a timely and professional manner, transferring call to desired location and providing guests with information on hotel facilities, services, local direction and emergency, safety and security procedures.
~Provide guest assistance with coordination of any guests’ needs, special requests and inquiries such as places of interest, restaurants and transportation to ensure superior service and value for guests.
~You may perform other duties as assigned such as providing luggage assistance and ensuring that the front desk and lobby area’s appearance reflect highly on the hotel and company.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent, plus one year front desk/Guest Service experience in a hotel or related discipline. Some college preferred. Excellent communication skills required. Knowledge of local area/attractions is preferred. Working knowledge of Opera PMS system is a big plus.
Shift: Days, Nights, Weekends (flexibility required – schedule will vary)
