Summary/Objective
Responsible for overseeing patient and visitor flow throughout the registration and information process and works closely with other inpatient and outpatient departments to ensure patients are directed to appropriate areas.
Essential Job Duties

Enters patients in tracking system and monitors schedules to determine status of patient in order to expedite the admitting process.Serves as a liaison between the transfer center and other departments to assist in the processing of the patients.Serves as a resource at the information desk, the transportation of the patients to and from treatment areas, and ensures that wheelchairs will be available for patents who needs. Coordinates aesthetics of lobby area and reports needs of repairs.Processes patient orders through order facilitator, the scheduling department and other departments within the hospital.Ensures all problems and concerns regarding Guest Relations are communicated to the supervisor/director and shows initiative to see processes through to completion.Utilizes interpersonal skills effectively in working with all individuals having interactions with the Guest Relations desk troubleshoots patient/visitor concerns in order to resolve issues prior to reaching the complaint process.
Required Education and Experience
High School diploma or equivalent
6 months - 1 year related experience
