GT PMO Associate Project Manager
Job Summary
The Global Technology PMO team is seeking an experienced Associate Project Manager to build a strong project schedule, budget, and scope with the right resource mix. This is an opportunity to be part of a team committed to DRIVE success and transformation. Work with project team members to build a strong project schedule. Prepare and communicate project status and communications to appropriate stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
Partner with key Stakeholders, including Project Sponsor, to understand business drivers and impact, risks and opportunities, and success criteria associated with the project.
Lead project teams and manages project scope, timeline, and budget.
Collaborate with the Project Analyst to build a strong project schedule and adhere to processes to support strong project implementation practices and drive stakeholder collaboration, team development, and support
Partner with the Project team members to execute assigned project tasks.
Manage project resources and ensure effective team collaboration.
Provide coaching and mentoring to peers and colleagues.
Apply critical thinking to resolve unexpected problems/issues that may arise.
Job Requirements
Provide guidance to the project team and set clear goals and expectations for the delivery of the project.
Develop and maintain a project plan that drives the successful delivery of the project scope, identify and manage project risks and issues.
Ensure that the project deliverables meet quality standards, adjusted as needed due to approved change requests.
Manage project resources, including budgets, staffing, and equipment to ensure deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
Communicate project status and associated RAIDD items will be collected, updated and communicated on a consistent basis and ensures necessary transparency occurs to effectively manage and deliver the project scope.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or Information Science - related field. Obtainment or enrollment in a Master's degree in Computer, Information Science or Business Administration is viewed favorably.
PMP/PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable or demonstration of progress to obtain PMP/PRINCE2 certification within a year is recommended, but not required.
5+ years of experience, with experience scheduling, managing and leading projects from start to finish; demonstrated ability to manage a team of resources with the right skillset to deliver the project scope.
