Independent Travel Consultant

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to become an Independent Travel Consultant on a 1099 commission-based basis. No prior travel sales experience is required. As long as you love travel and helping others, we will provide the training and support needed for this position.

As an Independent Travel Consultant, your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service to existing and potential customers by helping them plan and prepare for their dream vacations. You will work closely with clients to understand their preferences, budget, and travel requirements, providing expert advice and personalized recommendations. Your duties will include:

• Researching and recommending travel destinations, accommodations, transportation options, travel insurance and activities that best meet the customer's needs.
• Managing reservations, confirming bookings, and handling any necessary changes or cancellations.
• Addressing all inquiries or concerns promptly and helping them if any issues occur during their travel.
• Staying up to date with travel trends, industry news, and destination information to better serve clients.

This can be a hybrid and/or remote position – the ability to spend some time in the office is a plus. The schedule is highly flexible, and time can be spent working at home or in the office based on the flexibility that you need (other jobs, kids in school, etc). The travel perks can be very nice as well once you start selling.

Please note that because this is a 100% commission-based position and commission isn’t paid out until the customer actually travels, it will take some time to generate revenue. This position is not a good fit for someone needing a steady income immediately.
