Project Management Associate

We have an immediate opening for a Project Management Associate at our aerospace location in Rockford, ILL. The primary focus of this position is to support the project team in the planning, execution, and tracking of project initiatives. You will work closely with project managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning and coordination of small to medium-sized projects, including project schedules and resource allocation
• Facilitate project meetings and provide regular project status updates to stakeholders
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, meeting minutes, and action items
• Monitor project progress, identify and resolve project issues, and escalate as necessary
• Assist in the management of project budgets, including tracking and reporting of expenses
• Collaborate with project team members to identify and mitigate project risks
• Prepare presentations and reports to communicate project status, progress, and results

The ideal candidate will have the following combination of education & experience:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Project Management, or a related field preferred but not required
• 1-3 years of experience in project coordination or management
• Strong Project Management and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and work independently
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
• Project management certification, such as PMP, is a plus but not required.
