Fulfillment Manager - Puyallup, WA
Watson’s is looking for someone with strong Retail experience who loves managing people, problem-solving, and ensuring the efficient flow of inventory from arrival to the sales floor. The Fulfillment Manager is responsible for efficiently overseeing the Fulfillment team to receive products in an accurate and timely manner, ensure the sales floor is well stocked and clean, and maintaining consistent plant care. Primary responsibilities include:
Team Leadership
- Lead and supervise the Receiving and Fulfillment teams.
- Set daily task list for teams to complete and follow-up throughout the day on the team’s progress.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to enhance their performance.
Inventory Flow Management
- Oversee the end-to-end process of inventory management, from receipt to product placement on the sales floor.
- Develop and implement strategies to streamline the flow of inventory, minimizing delays and ensuring timely replenishment.
- Implement solutions to maximize storage efficiency.
Process Creation + Management
- Establish and manage efficient processes for receiving, inspecting, and organizing incoming inventory.
- Develop and optimize procedures for the replenishment of merchandise on the sales floor.
Collaboration + Coordination
- Collaborate with the Customer Experience team to align inventory processes with customer service standards.
- Coordinate with the Purchasing Manager, Buyers, Retail Manager, and Visual Merchandise Manager to strategize and implement effective inventory management practices and product flow.
- Maintain open and effective communication channels to address inventory-related issues promptly.
The ideal candidate has:
- Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in retail.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Experience training, coaching, and mentoring.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using inventory management software, email, and Microsoft Suite products.
- Able to stand and bend for long periods of time.
- Plant knowledge is a plus.
This full-time, exempt position will work on-site in Puyallup. This is not a remote position. Watson’s offers medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurances, paid time off, and 401(k) with match.

Pay: $64,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
