Position Overview:

We are in search of a graphic designer who has a passion for visual communication and storytelling to share our brand story in a way that engages, informs, and attracts customers to our business. We are looking for an independent and driven individual who can communicate visual concepts and create both print and digital design and marketing deliverables. Ideally, we would like a candidate with some knowledge of current design software and marketing strategies. This role requires a responsible self-starter who can manage multiple projects simultaneously and create effective marketing initiatives.

Job Location: Glassboro, NJ (this is not a remote job)

Job Duties:

• Work on a wide range of projects using various software programs
• Utilize brand guidelines to develop designs for print and digital media
• Strategize initiatives for marketing outreach, advertising, and sponsorships
• Conduct best approaches in customer engagement and job satisfaction
• Represent the company with our values and brand expectations in mind
• Make edits and create blog posts for our website
• Maintain and develop campaigns and creative content for our Social Media pages (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
• Create and edit print and digital marketing materials that may include signage, advertisements, company merchandise, sales and event deliverables, emails, website, promotional film/photos etc.
• Organize files within shared folders and prep designs for print
• Analyze insights and trends related to our digital presence
• Develop several variations and create mockups/prototypes during design process
• Stay updated with industry trends, design tools, and techniques, and apply this knowledge to produce innovative and cutting-edge designs.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the design process.
• Coordinating with outside agencies, art services, web designer, marketing, printers, and colleagues as necessary.
• Ensure proper use of brand elements in all graphic design.

• Demonstrate leadership and organizational skills in a professional manner
• Excellent communication skills, including oral, written and presentation ability
• Ability to use Adobe Software (Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office
• General knowledge of SEO/SEM, Wordpress, and social media
• Must have (or working on) a degree in graphic design, marketing, or other related fields
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a design or marketing related area
• Ability to respond well to feedback and adapt when necessary
• Industry knowledge not required but a plus
• Some photography, film, animation experience
• Knowledge of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
• Proactive and self-motivated with a passion for design and a keen eye for aesthetics.
• Understand marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design.
