Graphic Designer

Currently, we are looking for a Graphic Designer who will help Asbury Church maintain and improve excellent visual branding by creating content, print pieces, and promotional materials for events, groups, study guides, reports, signage, and more. The Graphic Designer will use many different types of creative content to design logos, brochures, various print pieces, t-shirts, banners, and be a brand ambassador for Asbury Church.

Essential Job Functions:

· Works with Content Manager and/or Creative Director to establish the aesthetic for new projects.

· Graphic design for Asbury Church events, promotions, departments, and facilities.

· Understand the Asbury brand to support and improve it through all design projects.

· Connect with ministry leaders as needed on details of projects.

· Stay current on creative industry standards, trends, and current products.

· Bring fresh inspiration and ideas to the table for design projects.

· Manage projects, organize tasks, and prioritize workload.

· Communicate effectively with Creative Director, Content Manager, and other team members.

· Assist Creative Director in reviewing quality of content and ensuring that it aligns with brand standards.

· During non-business hours, he or she should be available for rare emergency work.

· Other duties as assigned.

· Must have vision and a demonstrated ability to plan, develop, coordinate, manage and implement graphic design within the parameters of a theologically conservative church.

· Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite

· Portfolio demonstrating proficiency in required programs

· Creativity, originality, and a great visual taste

· Demonstrated project management skills

· Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

· Must be detail oriented

· Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

· Must be a self-starter and able to work with little oversight

· Must be adaptable to quickly changing situations

· Must be able to maintain confidentiality in all circumstances

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while serving others

· Must be able to work with all levels of clergy, leadership, and staff effectively

· Must work on site at Asbury Church in Tulsa, OK. (This is not a remote position)

Time commitment for the position:

Full-time, 40 hours per week. Monday – Friday.
