Job Summary:
The Graphic Designer is responsible for the design and implementation of user experiences across the company's digital platforms while ensuring a cohesive experience with our Brand. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating branded materials for external and internal use, in print and digital formats. The Graphic Designer is also responsible for supporting the development and maintenance of the company Marketing websites. The Graphic Designer will collaborate with the user experience team to ensure successful implementation of UI/UX best practices and principles across all digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for updating and maintaining the company external Marketing websites and micro sites while determining opportunities for improved user experience.
- Work with a team of front-end developers and creatives to mock-up, design and build engaging user interfaces.
- Produce high-quality UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes.
- Create branded materials including informational booklets, fliers, manuals, fillable digital forms, paper forms, and various templates for general or specialized use.
- Analyze customer responses and website analytics data to examine high traffic web pages propose opportunities for better user engagement.
- Participate in testing of website and portal releases to ensure optimal user experience.
- Implement graphics standards guides and UI style guides to branding specifications.
- Collaborate with Corporate Communications in the creation of customer newsletters.
- Oversee periodic website content reviews.
- Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge of graphic software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD with experience in obtaining and manipulating graphics.
- Extensive knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Extensive knowledge of accessible web layout design.
- Strong knowledge of CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap or Material Ui
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React.
- Fundamental knowledge of UX/UI concepts and front-end interfaces.
- Fundamental knowledge of SEO.
- Proven ability to manage and meet multiple project deadlines.
- Successful completion of Health Care Sanctions background check.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in design, multimedia, or related discipline.
- At least 5 years of related experience in field or related area preferred.
- Must have strong written, visual and verbal communication skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly.
