Job Description:
BASIC PURPOSE: This entry level position is housed within the Office of Integrated Marketing, the Graphic Designer position plays an essential role in shaping the visual identity and brand of Assumption University. The position's primary responsibilities will be to produce high-quality visual content to support brand growth projects and prospective student recruitment. The position will work closely with the University's marketing and admissions teams, along with other departments across campus, to plan, create, and produce content for uses including but not limited to digital advertising, social media, email campaigns, and other digital/print marketing materials in support of the mission of the University.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Collaborate with the brand/content team to develop compelling visual assets that effectively communicate the University's message and enhance brand awareness.
- Contribute to the creation of marketing materials, promotional campaigns, and digital content to support recruitment efforts and engage prospective students.
- Assist in the development of graphics for social media platforms, email campaigns, and website content to engage current students, alumni, and the wider community.
- Ensure consistency in branding and messaging across all design projects, adhering to established brand guidelines and visual components.
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to incorporate innovative design concepts and techniques into projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Must be willing to contribute actively to the mission of the University.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
- Demonstrated understanding of graphic design principles, styles, and techniques
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- A portfolio showcasing original design work and creative projects.
